Florida man accused of firing at homeless family snoozing in car is detained by police

A Florida man was taken into custody by police this week on suspicion of shooting a family who were sleeping in their car

Tampa Police Department said on Saturday that the incident left a pregnant woman hurt

Christopher Stamat Jr., 21, was detained by police on Saturday in connection with the shooting on October 5

Around 4:30 in the morning, he allegedly opened fire on a homeless family of five who were sleeping in their car. The mother allegedly received a headshot from Stamat

For the incident, Stamat is accused of six felonies, including four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
