Roller Coaster Rides Are Mistaken for Car Crashes by the iPhone 14's Crash Detection

Accidentally activating the Crash Detection feature on the iPhone 14 results in the emergency services being contacted

when users are on a roller coaster as opposed to being in a genuine traffic collision

Emergency services have been reported by a number of new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro users at amusement parks around the United States

After riding roller coasters, contacts are informed that they were engaged in a vehicle accident

The move came in response to an earlier tweet from Ukraine vice prime minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
