2021 T20 World Cup: The Mahakumbh of cricket i.e. T20 World Cup has started. But now the qualifying matches of the tournament are being played. There is a battle going on between eight teams to reach the Super 12. Out of this, four teams will qualify for the Super 12 and then from October 23, there will be a battle between 12 teams for the trophy. 1- KL Rahul

Indian team opener KL Rahul is running in excellent form. Rahul, who scored more than 600 runs in IPL 2021, also played a match-winning innings of 51 runs against England in the warm-up match of the 2021 T20 World Cup. He is the biggest contender to score the most runs in the 2021 T20 World Cup. In 48 T20 International matches, Rahul has 1557 runs in his name at an average of 39.92 and strike rate of 142.19. Rahul also has two centuries in T20 Internationals.

2- Babar Azam

Pakistan captain Babar Azam is also a big contender to achieve this position. Babar has been in excellent form, and is also the highest run-scorer in T20 Internationals since 2016. Babar scored a half-century against West Indies in the warm-up match of the 2021 T20 World Cup. Babar has 2204 runs in 61 matches of T20 International at an average of 46.89. He has scored a century in this format.

3- Glenn Maxwell

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who scored more than 500 runs in IPL 2021, is also included in this list. Anyway, Maxwell likes UAE pitches very much. He plays freely here and makes big scores. Maxwell has 1780 runs in 72 T20 Internationals at a strike rate of 158.93.

4- Quinton de Kock

South African wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock is also a big contender for the highest run scorer in the 2021 T20 World Cup. De Kock played for Mumbai Indians in the second half of IPL 2021 and also played brilliant innings in some matches. In such a situation, he can do wonders in the tournament.

5- Kane Williamson

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson may not perform as expected in IPL 2021, but he can do wonders in the 2021 T20 World Cup. Considering Williamson’s talent, it would have been wrong not to include him in this list. He has always stood up for his team at important occasions. Williamson has 1805 runs in 67 T20 Internationals at an average of 31.67.
