Grant Bradburn Resign: Just before the start of the T20 World Cup, the Pakistan cricket team has suffered a setback. Pakistan’s High Performance Coaching Chief Grant Bradburn has resigned from his post. Pakistan’s campaign in the World Cup will start with a match against India on 24 October. The resignation of Grant Bradburn before this great match is a big setback for the Pakistan team.
Former New Zealand cricketer Bradburn was associated with the Pakistan team for 3 years. He was also the fielding coach of the Pakistan cricket team from September 2018 to June 2020. After this he took over the responsibility of development of coaching. The PCB has issued Bradburn’s statement, in which he said that it was a matter of pride to work with Pakistan Cricket. I am leaving with great experience. I would like to thank PCB for giving me a great opportunity to learn as well.
Bradburn said – was unable to give time to the family
Bradburn further said that due to the Corona protocol, he was not able to spend time with the family. My wife Mari and three children also sacrificed a lot by allowing me to serve Pakistan cricket. The COVID-19 regulations made it challenging for him to visit Pakistan and feel the warmth, love and friendship of this country. Now is the time for me to prioritize my family and move on to the next coaching challenge. PCB High Performance Director Nadeem Khan praised Grant Bradburn saying that he served Pakistan cricket with passion and dedication. He was always full of energy and ideas.
