The first Test match was played between India and Pakistan in the year 1952 between 16-18 October. This three-day match was played at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi. Batting first, India had scored 372 runs in this match. Hemu Adhikari played a brilliant innings of 81 runs for the team. 14 September 2007, 1st T20, Result – India won in Super Over
In T20 International, India and Pakistan first met in the 2007 World Cup. This match was played on 14 September on the ground of Durban. Pakistan won the toss and invited India to bat. While bowling brilliantly, Mohammad Asif took 4 wickets for 18 runs and bundled India out for 141 runs for 9 wickets. Robin Uthappa contributed 50 runs, captain MS Dhoni 33 runs and Irfan Pathan contributed 20 runs for India.
