Moeen Ali was bought by CSK in the 2021 auction. He scored 37 runs in 20 balls in the title match, which was important in the team’s victory. Batting first, CSK scored 192 runs for the loss of wickets in 20 overs. KKR got off to a great start chasing 193 runs.
Shubman Gill (51) and Venkatesh Iyer (50) shared a 91-run partnership for the first wicket.
