England vs New Zealand Warm-up Match: Eoin Morgan-led England team defeated New Zealand by 12 runs in the warm-up match of the 2021 T20 World Cup played in Abu Dhabi. England had scored 163 runs for six wickets in 20 overs after playing first. In response, New Zealand’s team was reduced to 150 runs in 19.2 overs. Jos Buttler scored 73 runs in 51 balls with the help of 11 fours and two sixes, helping England’s team to put up a challenging score of 163 for six. At the same time Jonny Bairstow (30 runs in 21 balls) and Sam Billings (27 not out off 17 balls) also played useful innings. Leg spinner Ish Sodhi was the most successful bowler for New Zealand. He took three wickets for 26 runs.
