According to the news, after Adani Group and RP Sanjeev Goenka Group, now Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is planning to buy IPL franchise with his wife Deepika Padukone. Soon this couple will be seen bidding for the IPL team. In this month, on October 25, bidding is going on for the Ahmedabad and Lucknow franchises, in such a situation it is expected that the Board of Control for Cricket in India will definitely earn 7 to 10 thousand crores from the sale of these two teams.

For the auction of IPL teams, only 10 lakh rupees and documents have to be deposited. But the same company or consortium can participate in this auction, which has an annual turnover of 3 thousand crores. For the bidding of the IPL teams, the base price has been fixed for only Rs 2 thousand crores. According to the report, since the entry of new contenders in the IPL auction, Adani and Sanjeev Goenka have faded away. Talking to the magazine, an official who is involved in the auction process has revealed that many big contenders are willing to invest money in the world’s biggest T20 league.

Talking about Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the relationship between Bollywood and IPL is not new. Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla are the co-owners of the Kolkata Knight Riders team. Apart from this, Preity Zinta is a part of Punjab Kings. Deepika Padukone has an old relationship with sports. Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone was the first Indian to win the All England Badminton Championship.
